Káin: Zeneajánló

Nos, most is jöttem és hoztam az egyik nagy kedvencemet. Nyarlathotep kollégának köszönhetően tudtam meg ki is az előadó, mert addig csak linkelgették nekem a zenéit és nem volt rajta cím. Egy érdekes stílussal ismerkedhetünk meg ma is! Kicsit gót és kicsit cigány, viktoriánus de lázadó... jöjjön hát egyik új kedvencem:

VOLTAIRE

A mi kis zenészünk, teljes nevén: Aurelio Voltaire Hernández 1967 Jan 25-én született a Kubai Havannában. Nem csak gótikus kultúra egyik nagy zenésze hanem animációkat készít és képregényrajzoló is egyben , sőt professzor a New yorki vizuális művészeti iskolában. Énekel és akusztikus gitáron játszik, a műfaj amit képvisel gót és folk közt található. Zenéjében nagy szerepet kap a cselló, hegedű és a dob. Kiskorában szüleivel New jersey-be emigráltak, majd felnőttkorában New york-ba költözött, 17 évesen már animátori munkákat vállalt. Voltaire írt zenét mesébe is (Billy és Mandy kalandjai) .



Nagy hatással volt rá a Duran Duran, Danny Elfman és a The Cure és még Cab Calloway is. 2 könyvet is írt a gótikus stílusról.

1988-ban az MTV-nek dolgozott és csinálta az animációs reklámokat (Bosch stílusában) később pedig a Cartoon network-höz ment. Ma stop-motion technikát tanít a New yorki suliban. Voltaire amúgy házas és van egy gyereke is.

Nos hogy most beszéltünk a munkáiról, beszélek a zenéjéről is. Ezt a számát hallva feléledt bennem az igazi gonosz :D Már a szövege is magáról beszél, de a zene mellé valami hihetetlen hatást nyúlt. Íme az egyik nagy kedvencem tőle:

Remélem tetszett nektek is, én nagyon szeretem mert nem csak a zenéje jó, hanem a szöveg is eléggé bizarr XD. Jó szórakozást hozzá, sok albuma van fent itt-ott ;D...
